Why Reflection is Important

"Leadership development is as much about cultivating and fine-tuning one's mindset towards valuable work in education as it is about gaining the new concrete skills that are crucial to achieving goals in one's work." Reflection is an important piece in this process of cultivating a leadership mindset. By engaging in reflection, it already indicates a desire to learn from actions in order to improve; it is a within itself, a process.
